Since the early stages of the Uniprint reform, Unigrafia has invested in energy-efficient printing devices and solutions, carbon-compensated paper, and environmentally friendly supplies. In our procurement, we have emphasized suppliers that adhere to responsible practices and possess certifications that reflect and support their operations. 

The quantities of devices in the new service have been carefully calibrated to match the long-term development of printing volumes at the university. 

Promoting Digital Solutions 

By encouraging students and staff to use digital tools, we can reduce unnecessary printing. The new printing system and equipment can be utilized for digitizing archiving and material distribution, and we also recommend defaulting to double-sided and black-and-white printing. The secure printing process minimizes wasted prints. 

Minimizing Waste and Recycling 

The printing service has clear guidelines and a procedure for centralized recycling of service waste and minimizing the amount of waste generated. Our suppliers’ recycling processes ensure the systematic recycling of toner cartridges and supplies, as well as device parts.
